You will have memories
Because of what we did back then
When we were new at this,
Yes, we did many tings, then – all
Beautiful…

Glaucophyte – Non è il mio Posto

This "Wabi-Sabi" imperfect cup is part of slip and glazing experiment with the green hue. Many pop culture especially Hollywood depicts green as devil or "ugly" perspective as we could see from the iconic appearance of Wicked Witch of the West in 1939 film The Wizard of Oz and Dr. Seuss's "Grinch". Representing this green cup reminds us of the beauty of algae, it's not sublime yet but mysteriously beautiful.

L’Exode d’une Laiteuse

L’exode d’une laiteuse (The exodus of a milkmaid) is a 2019-ceramic project, focused on organic formal and featured a rough mishima and sgraffito. After firing, the unintentional slip and graze revealed this cup in aesthetic aspect. Most importantly this is utilitarian object and can be used as a regular cup.

Magnolia-I

This was a successful experiment how to shape and form the ancient Greek vessel into a contemporary and “maximalist” ideal aesthetics to the design, even though it is still highly functional.

Coleoidea I

Making this mug to looks sublime and functional was really challenging and enjoyable. Octopus or Jellyfish is my signature, so I need to add this marine creatures to all of my artworks if it's possible including this mug.

The Neptune

The idea of using this matte glaze and shining one was to see the unintentional style how the fire transform the cup. It turned out great and it looks like the blue of Neptune's surface. It's just so beautiful and gorgeous.
